**New publishing possiblity for writers: Microstory A Week

I just started a new blog for myself, and other writers - if you can write a good story in 500 words or less, check out this website: Microstory A Week.

Here's the guidelines.

I look forward to hearing from you! :)

A new visitor to your blog. I see you apologise for re-publishing old work. I don't. I have a bigger following now than I had in 2008 when I started blogging, and I think some of the newies might like some of the oldies! I might attempt your Microstory if have time, but I'd love you to invent a title for us to follow.

Good point about the 'apology' thing, thanks Rinkly.

If you note the kinds of books I read and review on this (PUB LIGHT) site, you'll get a good sense of what I like to read. Anything from G-rated to a (hard) R rating works. Just no explicit sex, Hallmark sentiments, or religious-based works, please.

That said, I'll post a story next Wednesday on the MICROSTORY site, whether it's my own, or somebody else's (which I'd prefer).

The MICROSTORY site was mainly created for writers other than myself. Of course, I'll also benefit from the site (in a non-profit manner), but the spirit that impelled its creation stemmed from a line from the 2009 film "Whip It" - "Be your own hero." :)
